Mecca Bingo has offered one lucky player the chance to win the holiday of a lifetime, to Las Vegas. Mecca Bingos Great Vegas Giveaway promotion proved extremely popular with players, as it was expected to be. The winner, the identity of whom was revealed on the twenty eighth of August, is now preparing to jet of to Las Vegas in the very near future, all courtesy of the generous people at Mecca Bingo.

The luxurious prize includes a VIP stay in the casino capital of the world, as well as the accommodation being the world famous Caesars Palace hotel. The lucky winner, whose identity is not widely known, will also enjoy a tour of the city, accompanied by Mecca Bingos human mascot, Bingo Dave. They will be treated to a show on one evening, which will be followed by a gourmet three course dinner. The prize trip begins on the twenty first of October, when the winner will fly out to Las Vegas. They will stay in the city for six nights, giving them plenty of opportunity to experience everything that Las Vegas has to offer.

The Great Vegas Giveaway promotion saw an unprecedented number of hopeful players entering the competition. Players entered the competition through the Mecca Bingo main site, by playing on the bingo slot machines. In order to be in with a chance of winning the Las Vegas holiday they simply had to play five games of slots on the site in one day, and this could be done by using points that had already been accumulated on the site. No money was required to be deposited in order that players were in with a chance of winning. Players could also make multiple entries, because every five games of slots provided one entry into the prize draw. Effectively, this meant that if a player played on the slots machines fifteen times in one day, they would be entered into the prize draw three times.

Understanding Draw poker odds will enable a canny player to have a feel of what hands they should bet on and what they should fold. Draw poker odds are not easy to remember unless you are a gifted card counting kind of guy, but lets face it you probably wouldn’t be reading this if you were.

This version of poker is the oldest form of poker known to man. Although the game has lost some popularity to games like Omaha poker, it still has a very strong following. The game is not played with community cards and therefore the odds differ somewhat compared with other versions of the game.

There are two main types of draw poker – five card draw and Jacks or better. If you have ever played video poker then you will see that these machines are based on draw poker where a player has one opportunity to draw new cards in order to better his or her hand. The strongest hand at the end of the round is declared the winner. Without knowing which hands are the best, you will not be able to play draw poker. The hands in draw poker are ranked exactly the same as other poker games, except for 3-card poker where they differ slightly.

Obviously, the better your hand the better your chances are of winning the game. Draw poker is different to games with community cards because you will have a lesser idea as to what kind of hand your opponent is chasing. All you can do is watch how many cards they discard. For example, if you see that your opponent has discarded four cards then you can safely assume that he or she is holding one high card – probably an Ace or a King. The chances of your opponent drawing a better hand are 3 to 1 against. This means that if you are sitting with only a pair then the odds are already stacked in your favour.

What you keep: What you draw: What you want: Odds against

One pair 3 cards Anything 2.48 – 1 One pair 3 cards Two pairs 5.25 – 1 One pair and a kicker 2 cards Anything 2.86 – 1 One pair and a kicker 2 cards Two Pairs 4.90 – 1 Ace 4 cards Anything 3.00 – 1 Potential flush 1 card Flush 4.20 – 1 Trips 2 cards Full house 15.4 – 1 2 pairs 1 card Full house 10.75 – 1

It all comes down to how you play the game and how aggressively you want to play. Poker is a game of luck as well as strategy, and most professional players will tell you that it is not enough to just have the right cards. So using the draw poker odds table may give you a fighting chance. If you wish to play it safe then you will not keep chasing the big hands when you know full well that the odds of you landing a great hand are not good.

If you are sitting with one Ace after discarding four cards, you should not sit there and hope for a royal flush. Weirder things have happened in the past, but statistically you will lose a lot more in the long run if you play this way. It all boils down to common sense and knowing when to play hard and when to accept that you do not have the cards to back up your bravado.

Playing the right percentages will allow you to be a more complete player and this is the first step to increasing your stack. A good place to practice draw poker is by playing video poker. These machines will often have a draw poker odds table as well as a payout table so that you can see how well you are doing.

When it comes to playing Poker Tournaments, you should remember one thing all the time – maximizing your financial expectation of the game – this is one of the best tournament poker strategies.

At three different times in a poker tournament, it becomes crucial to eliminate a player. As for the first chance, you should check down almost any hand to the river. The other two chances commonly arrive when one is without money or is three handed. (Generally the second one gets double what the third gets).

In a tournament, eliminating the others players is very important and this trick is one of the widely used tournament poker strategies. If you wish to win, then you have to eliminate all the opponents. But still this is not the most important factor to consider. Your whole focus should be on ‘increasing the financial expectation’ of the game. And at times, it does involve NOT eliminating the players like in a situation when one or two players are out of the money and then you are there with a big stack…. and also you are capable enough to virtually steal their blinds. So, the longer this particular situation remains the better for you (best of all tournament poker strategies).

In Poker Tournaments, a majority of players play the game without a positive expectation and this works great for those who play hard and motivated enough to win. The main challenge in a poker tournament lies in the way you play with your best financial interest. And as we discussed above, at times it may include eliminating the opponents, but overall it’ is the money that matters the most.

In poker tournament, everyone is faced with problems like missing the flush draws, confusions about to bluff or not etc-etc. For all the players who play poker tournaments, you have to adapt to having brilliant moments in real dire circumstances. Every poker tournament player has to face the abyss.

And the fact is that the majority do not face it so well. It is very common that players toss in the last chips foolishly (muttering about “full value”) making a foolish play.

This happens a lot because not rising to the challenge that the situation throws.

In tournaments, the main secret is the skill that should be there for moments like these.

It does not matter how much tournament poker strategies you know, but how you use them in the negative situations.

In order to succeed in these adverse moments, instead of folding up and being destroyed, one should step ahead and seize these moments then rising & acting boldly to make a brilliant decision.

If you see it in a different way, then taking part in poker tournament should not be seen as a chance to grab huge prizes, but you should look at it as an opportunity for the improvement of your decision making power in the adverse moments especially. If you seriously want to win a poker tournament, then you must risk losing the game. In other words, you must look at your chips as they are dead and then perform. Yes, that’ the key – taking risk.

And just exactly reverse of this theorem is the reason that why the successful poker tournament players perform poor when they play ring games. Actually, they cannot handle repeated mundane decisions. They simply cannot stand before the players who do not have any fear for the chips. The ring games seldom have an adversity element involved. The main exceptions in the ring games are big bets and where one plays over his head (with rent money).

The opponents who touch their pockets to pull out more money are really different from the ones who decide to leave the table when they lose a hand.

So, if you follow the tournament poker strategies, then you must learn to risk the chips to have a long life in the poker tournaments

Along with the factors like brilliance and daringness, sacrifice is also a part of a poker tournament and you should accept it in a healthy way. Check out lot more strategies on bigbonuspoker.com

Everyone wants to be better in whatever they do. An actress wants to be better after every role. A driver wants to drive faster after each race. Naturally, a poker player wants to make his game better after each poker session. They do their best to know what they must do in each game. It is like their mindset is that they’re already playing at the World Series of Poker Main Event. As long as they know the tips and tricks of poker in that particular game, then their approach on any poker session is that they should end up as the winner.

Here are some of the tips poker players often do in a regular game. In fact some poker players who have played at the World Series of Poker Main Event also do the following tricks. These are some of the secrets that led them to play there in the first place.

1. Fold more and don’t play every hand. This is probably the biggest mistake novice players make. They play with too many hands. When a poker player is just starting, he must stay in hands that aren’t quite good so just he could stay in the game. Playing more does not necessarily mean winning more. For a novice, it means losing more. The trick most poker players do and which is pretty much observed by those who played at the World Series of Poker Main Event is to just stay with half or probably more of the hands that has been dealt.

2. Never play when you’re drunk. So many poker players make a fool of themselves when they’re drunk. They just piss their money away. They throw away stacks of chips. Be it at the World Series of Poker Main Event or just a game at your buddy’s house, you should watch the alcohol. The facts are when you may be at home, but if you’ve had two drinks, it will only make you lose than gain. A poker player must be sharp and alcohol does not make this possible.

3. Don’t just bluff so you could bluff. Beginners know that bluffing is an essential trick in poker. In fact, even at the World Series of Poker Main Event, the expert poker players bluff one another. But if you want to bluff and now know exactly how to do it, then don’t even attempt to do so. There is no particular rule in bluffing. However, most poker players have this mentality that they don’t feel they’ve won if they didn’t’ do a poker bluff. This is just a fallacy. A poker player can only pull off a bluff in particular situations and certain poker players.

4. Don’t Stay in the Hand just because you’re close to winning. This is another mistake most novices make. They believe that just because they’ve already placed a hefty amount in the pot, it is wise that they stay. Well, not necessarily. It does not determine that you will win the pot, just because a lot of your money’s in it. Once you’re slowly beaten, you’ll have a hard time improving your hand. So the best thing to do is to just warrant a call. If you’re sure you’re beaten, just fold.

When you are gambling online, there are various ways in which you can use free casino money. If you know how to find this type of free money online that can be used for online casinos, you can get more of a bang out of your online gambling. There is nothing quite like taking advantage of bonuses that offer you some free money that allows you to play at a casino site without it costing you money out of your own pocket.

One way to use free casino money is to play games that you like to play at any online casino. You should be sure that the bonus includes any games that you are thinking of playing as many casino bonuses are offered for certain games only. If you enjoy certain casino games, then you can make the most of them by playing those that you like when you use free casino money in order to play them. In order to obtain this type of bonus, you normally have to look to a site that will include all of the bonuses offered for online casinos. This will enable you to see which of the bonuses is best for you.

Another way that you can use free casino money is to use it to learn a game that you might want to try. If you have been hesitating over playing a certain game at an online casino but want to give it a go, then you can do so when you use free money obtained from a casino bonus. This is one of the best ways that you can get used to different games that you might want to play but do not want to use your own money to wager on. You can learn new games and even have fun with older games that you may be a bit rusty on when you are playing on the house.

If you like to play poker, then you can often use free casino money for poker games. In some cases, you may able to obtain a bonus that can even get you into some tournaments online where you can really win big. You can use the bonuses to improve your poker playing skills to the point where you can compete with others who are also playing this game online. If you want to play poker online, then the best way to do so is to start out by playing for free. This way, you can learn how the game moves as well as how the other players tend to play without having to risk any of your own money from your account.

You should take advantage of sites that offer you a chance to get bonuses as well as free casino money if you plan to gamble online. There are many casinos online that offer gambling of all different types to players and they are eager to get new players aboard. If you use a site that will enable you to get the codes that you need in order to take advantage of the best bonuses, then you are one step ahead in the game.
